Sugar addiction .... between study and daily life.

Sugar were considered as one of the six food groups.

Molecular formula of glucose

Sugar is an important ingredient and is an ingredient in our food

(And you hardly find food products that do not show the level or proportion of sugars in it). The simplest type of sugars is glucose and it's formula is  C6H12O6, but in reality many different sugars can be derived in the properties and arrangement of atoms of the same formula and the most important of these types :

1) Glucose: It is called grapes or blood sugar, is the simplest types of sugars take the form of crystalline white and because of its simple structure, blood can be absorbed directly through the intestine. It can be produced through the process of photosynthesis in the plant and is found in honey, figs and grapes in good quantities.

Glucose is the main sugar in the grapes

2) Glactose: It is called  mind sugar, which is a simple sugars, is not soluble in water and is not commonly found in foods; so the body makes it during glucose conversion to fructose.

Glactose is called brain sugar

3) Fructose: It is called Fruit sugar which is found in almost all types of fruits, which it sweetness is higher than sugar cane , but its calories are few, so it enters into food diets and many food industries.

Fructose sugar is used in the food industries and diet

When talking about the types of sugars, it is necessary to talk about two very important types (not from primary sugars):

1) Sucrose: cane sugar or table sugar, it is called this because it is used in preparing food on the table and because it is extracted mostly from sugar cane, but also extracted from the   fruit of beet. This type of polysaccharide of glucose and fructose is sugar bipolar.
Table sugar is common among people and is used in cooking and preparing dishes

 2) Lactose: Sugar is called milk, because it is the primary sugar in milk, it is 1.5% - 8% of the weight of milk, produces this type of glucose and glactose. It is worth mentioning that lactose can be produced in the body of the organism as these two saccharin can combine the presence of the enzyme lactase in the hydrolysis process.

Lactating body can produce this self-sufficiency of sugar with milk

But with the thousands of varieties of sugar comes to mind the reader what is the importance of sugar and its damage to the body.

* Sugar Benefits:

Of the importance of sugar it enters the vital processes in the human body,

1) Sugars enter into many vital processes; lactose enters into the composition of lactating milk and fructose in sperm feeding in males.

2) Sugar plays an important role in energy production processes in the body.

3) Sugar is used in the process of raising blood pressure; so you find diabetics vulnerable to low blood weakness because of irregular levels of sugar.

4) Wound healing: There are some studies that indicate that sugar has a flatness of wounds, which helps to heal faster.

5) Treatment of depression: Sugar helps to eliminate depression, when eating a piece of chocolate rich in sugar, it stimulates the brain to secretion of the hormone happiness and therefore the pressure of depression and grief.

6) useful for the protection of the heart and liver: where the liver is a toxin strainer in the body and, is the store of glycogen or in other words carbohydrates, which are sugars complex.

* Risks and damages of sugars:

Sugar plays a certain role in the growth of some cancer cells.

1) Scientists have found in the research that there is a relationship between sugars and cholesterol levels in the blood. Eating large amounts of sugars leads to a high level of triglycerides compared to low blood cholesterol (high density lipoprotein (HDL)). Leading to heart disease.

2) reduce the growth of the person; because of the impact on the copper component leads to decrease and inhibit growth. Copper is a very important element that helps absorb calcium and magnesium that are important for growth.

3) raise the level of anxiety and disorder, which leads to increased motion, especially in children.

4) Change of collagen in cells leading to premature aging.

5) Helps to change the structure of the protein which helps the growth of cancer cells.

 6) Increased risk of eye disease.

 8) lead to increased obesity.

 9) causes retention of water inside the cells and reduces the flow of oxygen to the brain.

 10) Impede vitamin C absorption due to the similarity between its composition and sugar composition.

 * The relationship between sugar and diabetes.

There is no relationship between sugar and diabetes except in name only.

Sugar consumption does not directly lead to diabetes (ie, an increase in blood sugar because the insulin hormone produced by the pancreas works to regulate this increase). But one of the main causes of the disease is sweetened drinks and obesity.

 * The amount of sugar recommended for consumption.

The human need for sugar varies according to gender, age and activity.

Sugar is not a serious illness in itself, but it must be controlled. It should be noted that the daily need of sugar in grams per day:

 * Women 8 grams / day and equivalent to 100 calories.
 * Men 12 grams / day and equivalent to 150 calories.

Do not forget that one 250ml can of soda contains more than 8 grams of sugar or 130 calories.

* Sugar addiction.

Sugar addiction is something that needs more research.

Some wonder whether these words can come together? In fact, the short term is yes. Through my research between the sayings of the experts and the research of scholars, the cuff tends to this aspect, despite the continuation of studies on this subject. However, it has been proven in the experiment of the effect of sugar on rats given some doses of sugar and then cut off for nine days, it began to appear on some of the symptoms of teeth as a result of addiction to this article, in addition to the four stages of addiction have been clear  to these rats. In fact, the biological mechanism to treat the body with sugar is difficult to explain here, but it is worth mentioning that sweets and sweetened beverages and other, sugar-rich sources, provide the body by converting it into a simple sugar or mono is glucose sugar, and this type is very important For many vital processes in the body and brain.

Glucose helps clear the secretion of the hormone of happiness, or what is known as dopamine. When you eat a piece of candy, the big one feels happy and you notice that a piece of chocolate is enough to calm your mood in anger, sadness and tension.

Another effect of sugar addiction is to increase the level of tryptophan in the body, leading to increased levels of serotonin, which stimulates neurotransmitters for irritation and drowsiness. So we go to the first point again and is the secretion of the hormone happiness in a continuous cycle and daily in our lives.

* Tips to get rid of the supposed addiction to sugar.

Water is not only a cure for sugar addiction, it is a natural, easy and cheap medicine for many diseases and problems.

 1) Eat fruit instead of sweets; the reason is that fruit sugar accelerates absorption and does not need to be converted into the body.

2) Drink more water instead of soda, because water has an important role in the biological reactions within the body.

3) Monitor your daily consumption of sugar through specific programs and diets.

4) Have a healthy breakfast.
